I just want to say thank you for creating A Valley Without Wind. Never mind what some of the negative critics out there say about the game, because I personally think that this game has got to be one of the most intriguing and entertaining games I have ever played.
I downloaded the demo off of Steam to give it a shot yesterday morning, having decided to try the game myself instead of listening to "official" reviews that spewed nothing but negativity about the game...I just had a feeling about this one.
Glad I did, because if I hadn't I would've missed out.
It feels like Metroid, mixed with a bit of Minecraft, and then mixed with a boat load of other genres that escape me for the moment...it's just incredibly fun to play, and I think it's the massive scope of random generated exploration that really has me hooked. Like I said, I downloaded it yesterday morning and played for hours. Eventually I needed to quit because I was getting tired and the message given to me when I quit was very appropriate.
So enough of the demo...I'm gladly slapping down 15 bucks for this one. Thanks again Arcen, it's a great game.
Oh yeah, I can't stop humming the main theme on the game's main menu.
