Found some armor a while ago with the Storm Dash function. It said to activate it by double tapping the walk key. I tried it but it wouldn't activate. It wasn't until later that I remembered that the Storm Dash feat was removed so this loot item may not function right anymore.

And yeah, the Scorpions were a surprise as well. Also I think I met the new enemy. If it's what I think it was, that was a total flashback to my old D&D Monster Manual.

That's true. Although it wouldn't hurt to have them in one more biome, and don't even say what one it is lol.

Also we need mechanized dinosaurs shooting lazers from cannons on their backs!

Here you go

OH

MY

GAWD...

This and equipment dropping just made my day.

But yeah, the spiders make things too easy, strangely enough.  They drop so much health that it makes everything a breeze.

And I have yet to find out what the new monster is.  Please don't spoil it.
It's just carriers all the way down!

If the drops can be weighted on a per monster basis maybe the spiders should drop ammo most of the time instead of health, or if that's too overpowering maybe just scale the health they drop way back.

Misery has a point with the undodgeable factor too, although I think it's kind of neat to get swarmed by laser spewing leaping robotic spiders. Maybe some kind of tell or warning could help here. I dunno, just stabbing in the dark.

I think I discovered the ??? monster. Hahaha, I didn't see the name of it in the patch notes at least. That was a hilarious find I'm glad wasn't spoiled - assuming the desert monster I found was actually it.

Edit: I only fought one at a time though, so not sure I could say how difficult they'll be in groups - makes me wonder if its the right monster.

Since completing a Robotic Research Facility ( RIP Skelebots   :'( ), and earning a Feat I have hit the next stumbling block.

How do you use Feats? I've been digging around in the menus and Help section but I haven't been able to figure this out. I can't even tell what the Feat I earned is. I think some UI pointers could help out here too.

On the whole this has been a really nice update. The game is really becoming a lot of fun. The strategy layer is starting to pick up an epic feel with the overland spells and monsters and stuff like the new Amp Towers and Pyramids on the resistance side. The action layer is getting really nice with all the new monsters, slices and art objects making it in. I'm really enjoying some of the interactions between monsters and how that can make you change up your approach. I think some Mage classes could use a bit of a boost, like the first tier stone based class still doesn't feel very useful to me. It seems to lack caliber and punch considering that it's stone we're talking about. Also the Robotic Tower Ruins are a real slog if you are trying to purify one of those tiles. They really seem to go on forever. Other than that I really like them as an environment and enemy set. So far I have a hard time dragging myself away from Aquaurgist. I just love using Sea Slider and Water Sine, it's so much fun to see what kind of shots I can pull off with that class.

Keep up the awesome work Arcen!

When you are in the strategic map, you enter "enter" and scroll down to the new option of enable/disable feats. They're all defaulted to off... they really should default to on, and could use a better explanation about that in general.
