I can finally play the game properly

I got the game on the day of steamrelease basically, or a few days after and always wondered how you upgrade your town.
With the latest update I finally got the necessary options in the menus and the drops required to upgrade.
So, the last Patch made the game playable at all for me.
Time for playing now I guess :D.

Well, do remember that the game is designed to be played on official releases only. The BETA releases are, well, beta. They're broken, unstable and rather wonky. But at the same time bleeding edge.

If you're playing the latest update, you *are* playing a beta version. Whether you realise it or not...

Not entirely true. There's two types of updates. One official, and the "almost-daily-betas". It actually says "New beta release" or "New official release" on the button.

It does the official updates. The beta updates require you to use the in-game updater.

So in effect, you are playing the latest official release (which should be 1.103, I think). The betas are up to 1.115 or somesuch atm. 1.2 is slated for monday release, and should auto-update via Steam.

What exactly are you trying to do, if I may ask?
I just provided feedback after the 1.1 Update which made the game playable for me because I did't get any Shards before.
So there is not really a problem that needs to be discussed you know...

Mind you, this is the first time I've not been working overtime on a sunday since the start of June...

EDIT: Well, I should probably state that I'm not an officer. I'm a civilian administrator and it's rather slow atm.

Nor does the airline industry - but I'm rostered weekdays. Weekends are either catching up backlog or covering leave.

And I could work an extra fifteen hours every week and still only break even with the backlog...

In other news, until a moment ago I'd forgotten that turning into a bat in windstorms was a very bad idea... Whoops.
