Has there been any talk about natural disasters? It could be similar to the windstorms, you see a counter that says meteor strike 100 turns. I think that fear like that would make the game even more exciting and make you focus on important tasks. Thanks again.

Possibly, but I doubt it would be in 1.0.  That's a pretty huge scope addition, so most likely something like that would be an expansion.

The levels of spells will go up basically infinitely, so yes there will be a level XIV everything.  Your own level isn't capped out either until about 2 billion, so you could also get a crazy level.  One spell level is equivalent to about 10 of your levels; you'll level up on average once an hour if you're playing in an average sort of fashion

So what you're saying is that you're going to out-Disgaea Disgaea?  Oh dear.

You know, about the one thing I know about Disgaea is that their levels go up to 9999, which is something that I thought sounded smart.  So that was our plan for a good while, until we were like "why do we have a cap at all, really?"  So... 2,147,483,647 is the max level (Int32.Max).

All this work getting 64-bit hardware and OSes, and yet we still get these excuses about how two billion levels is enough for anyone.  If I'm getting one level per hour, what happens 250k years from now when the counter wraps?  Hopefully by then there's an expansion or patch or something to address that.  Heh.

I hate to admit it, but this is one of those cases where we're passing the buck.  "Let future generations deal with it."  :P ;)
