How do you aim spells?

Just to chime in with the crowd ---- it looks great.  Just from the first screen, there's a feeling of a lot of depth to be plumbed.

But I'm confused by the controls already :(.  How do you aim spells like fireball and energy burst (I assume you can)?  I would have assumed they went in the direction of the cursor, but it seems like no matter where I have the cursor they go up at a 45-degree angle from the direction my character is facing.  Great for fighting up staircases, kinda useless for anything else.  Am I doing this wrong?

how are you casting things? if you press buttons on your mouse, it should go to your mouse cursor. if you are casting them from 1-5 on the keyboard, maybe something is wrong.

There are a few other control styles too, that might modifying stuff

Martyn, are you on a Mac? This seems to be a Mac issue that we're working on.
