Title: Hooked...
Post by: steftymo on October 18, 2011, 04:37:30 am
I originally thought after playing the demo a few times I would not be coming back to this game but decided to stick with it and it all just suddenly clicked into place, starting with understanding the dungeon and chunk maps. This is a brilliant conception and really helps you to navigate throught the larger buildings and twistier caverns.
I am now getting my head around the strategy/settlement maps and am amazed at the depth of gameplay involved....and I know much more is to come.
Best money I spent on a game recently..........
I have a couple of little questions which I cannot seem to find the answer to though....1] What do you do with grow gems( I have loads of wardrobes and lamps etc. but don't know what to do with them).  2] Why does the area  go into a shadow when fighting standard bosses in the caverns making it inpossible to see your character and the bosses ?

Fantastic game, thanks  :)

For the shadow when fighting bosses it's because they are Shadow Bats. :P It's kind of an ability for these bosses to make it harder for you when you fight them. You can still aim fairly easy with the tabbing but it's harder to move when you don't really see where you go. :D

Oh right..thanks for that. Silly me, I didn't realise they were all shadow bats....I take it there are other boss types in caverns....deeper down perhaps ?

Not at the moment only Shadow Bats but more are planned as the beta continues.

Grow gems contain stuff you've cast the shrink spell on. To use them, find a place you want to decorate and activate them.
