I figured I would start this idea here on the forums and see what you guys think and could possibly come up with. if there is a real big interest in the idea I can then post in on Mantis. The reason why I'm not putting it thee now is because I feel that the idea needs to evolve itself a little more and have a little more meat behind it to give developers more of a concrete thing that they could implement instead of them looking at the idea and saying how do we implement it.
I would honestly like to see enchants evolve as the game progresses in to continent 2, 3 and even 4 and what I had in mind was unlocking new abilities for each enchant slot as you progress through the continents. For example, once you get to continent 2, Feet enchants get the ability to make players immune to nettle plants. Having to clear these things on continent one is extremely annoying and it's something I don't think you should have to do on every continent. And say on continent 4 your left or right arm enchant will give long range abilities the ability to hit things in the background, such as tress and traps. by now you've harvested enough trees and rocks and other things by now why not just fire a long range spell and take out a whole screens worth then just run and pick them up.
The idea behind these abilities is not to unbalance the game but more to kind of reward the player for having to deal with some of the more annoying game mechanics. and it will give people a reason to upgrade their enchants in the later game as well.
