cInput2 is a third party plugin that I'd not heard of until now. In terms of the general issue of the axis being off center, usually there is a simple solution for that: unplug your game controller, make sure the analog stick is at rest, and plug it back in. Let me know if that doesn't work, but generally gamepads initialize to whatever their centered state is when they are actually first connected. People who reboot with their gamepad sitting upside down often unintentionally mis-calibrate their own controllers!

Anyhow, how are things feeling in the latest version of the game for those who were having troubles?

I've been playing the game for a good few hours now since the change, with both a 360 pad and a PS2 controller and have hardly had any problems. The only tiny problem was with my PS2 pad on the perk screen, there was a slight tendency to up to move up left rather than up.  I put this down to my controller rather than an implementation problem, though.

Also, I notice on the steam forums that a couple of people are having problems with the game recognizing certain controllers, Razer Onza was one. Seems to be something to do with Nostromo drivers or something.
