Early Beta World - Generated Region OHMYGOSH

I recently loaded up one of my really old beta worlds and every time I enter a region I previously visited (like, months ago) I end up in some weird nether world with no terrain, some surface cave backgrounds and no ability to jump. (And in one of the attached pictures you can see Ice Pirate shots frozen when they hit the bottom of the screen too.)

Basically, my question is this: is this endemic of the age of the world; is there a bug; or has my world simply become corrupted somehow?

I've had this happen recently to my world. The no jump thing is cause by the bottem of the screen not counting as ground so it never refills  your jump count. Same reason why the shots aren't breaking.

Yep.

Sorry this is taking so long to get fixed, right now most of Arcen is focused on getting ready for PAX East this upcoming weekend. I'm not sure any of us realized quite how much work presenting at these things is, so it's a bit of a learning experience for all of us, but we're confident it will bring a lot of good results.

As for the bug, I won't promise when we'll get it fixed, but, it'll get done ASAP.
