Caliber explanation pop-up
« on: February 06, 2013, 01:43:16 pm »
Guys, on the very second or third screen from the start after you created a new world, there is this exploding bomb-thingie. If you shoot it with most of available spells, the Caliber explanation pop-up shows. Is it just me or is it slightly weird? I mean there was no one in the room to use the other spell but you. I understand that maybe the explosion is internally coded as a spell, thus the pop-up. Still won't it be confusing for new players to get this pop-up when there was no obvious other spell fired at them?

Also the explosion does not happen until your spell hit. So it's not quite clear how the collision happens. Confusing.

What do you think?

Thanks!

* The explosions from mines and other similar things now have a caliber that is smaller than any spell, meaning that they neither block enemy/player spells nor cause the spell caliber explanation message to be shown when you're in the crates training room.
