Citadels - Now Demonaica Fight

In my current game, I have one last citadel to take care of but the overlord keeps making it invulnerable with Firestorm. Since I can't do any sort of work with my allies. Is there anything I can do or what?

The "freebie" area spell he gets on the citadels cannot be firestorm, so he'll only hit that area with firestorm on his normal cast, and if he picks an area spell (instead of a summon spell) for his normal cast he generally targets the biggest cluster of NPCs with it.  So if you have a bigger cluster somewhere else he should target it instead :)

The "freebie" area spell he gets on the citadels cannot be firestorm, so he'll only hit that area with firestorm on his normal cast, and if he picks an area spell (instead of a summon spell) for his normal cast he generally targets the biggest cluster of NPCs with it.  So if you have a bigger cluster somewhere else he should target it instead :)

This isn't what he's casting, the citadel itself is casting firestorm to protect itself. He's just randomly targeting other NPCs with his spells.

Never mind, after a few turns it finally switched to a different spell. Meteors. Lovely stuff. Now its destroyed.

Hrm, I flagged Firestorm as "not eligible for free-casting" but apparently it wasn't impressed ;)

While your at it, could you stop Demonica from killing you in one hit if you touch him? That's just complete bs considering how cramped that room is and how fast he flies around. You can't kill him. Even on an easier difficulty level.

You mean during the final battle in sideview?  Requests for sideview mercy go to Chris :)

WTB.  Patch 1.003 also has the Swamp Castle fix.  That said, I am looking forward to Shattered Haven (which I'm sure is the main focus right now).

Like the guys at work say, isn't it great to be wanted?

Yeah, Shattered Haven is absolutely the focus right now. For a variety of reasons, not the least of which being that we are getting close to our targeted release date... :)
