What with all the talk about screen sizes, I thought I'd upload a random large screenshot: (5120x1600)

http://arcengames.com/mantisbt/file_download.php?file_id=1215&type=bug

I had to recompress this in JPEG (11) to get it below Mantis's 5MB limit, as the raw PNG was almost 10MB.

I'm not particularly artistic about screenshots so it's just a random area I was in at the time.

I'll do a 7680x1600 one another day.

Enjoy!

When I ran into a bug where minibosses weren't spawning in rare commodity towers, I only took advantage of it 3 times to get memory crystals, all 3 times were for bug reporting: first time I thought it was a bug, the second was to verify it and the 3rd was to get a save to submit.

Bah.  The only bug I personally ran into with those was that some of mine weren't spawning any rare commodities at all, so the only reward I got for killing all the bosses was a single health potion.  Some people have all the luck.

Heh, when I first got my hands on the game I went straight to a rare commodity tower without bothering to do some smaller buildings first, so I used up my 2 starting potions almost immediately. I spent about 4 hours chipping away at bosses, then running home to get healed by the guardian stone, then fighting the bosses some more. I figured there would be loads of really useful loot as a reward for beating all those bosses.

dont know if this is already to-do, but it would be nice if powerline pylons didn't get placed so close together

I saw a rare commodity tower with two missing bosses recently but since I reported it, I believe it got fixed and haven't seen it since. Also, all my rare commodity towers have had a rare commodity in them.

Yeah, meant to say -- the rare commodities not seeding thing was one of those early bugs from right at the start of the alpha testing, and was fixed long ago.  No reports since.

Actually, I'm seeding them that way quite intentionally -- putting things how they are in the real world isn't really my goal.  This is a world that's been shattered and broken, and I think it looks cool with them stacking close a lot of the time, personally.

Yeah, I remember that report, that should be fixed, but, if you see it after last night's fix, please let us know. Thanks!

is showing the HP bar of crates and other inanimate objects really necessary?

It tends to be, yes -- otherwise there's no indication of how much time left is before they are destroyed.  And there's no way to see what their name is, etc.  If you play up in region levels, sometimes it will take 20+ hits to kill a tree that would be 1-hit at or below your region level.

It can be, yes. If they are protecting you from a boss, its nice to know when your cover is about to disappear. ;-)
