Bat morph is cheesy

The level 5 skill that lets you morph into a bat is very cheesy. You can basically fly unmolested through every outdoor map. Its also even easy to kite the bosses on some maps. Seems very overpowered and takes almost no ammo to use.

I'd think of it as maybe a small reward/chance for making it that far in the game xD I mean it might still be hard in the game, but it just makes things a bit easier for the final leg maybe?

Just a thought, but it might be an idea to have a change to bat = no shoot, turn back to character = shoot type of toggle, which i think was implemented before over in AVWW 1.

Anyway, the pro's and con's can be balanced, so that newbies and pro's can have something that fits them.

Aren't the surface areas generally trivial compared to caves and stuff anyway though? It wouldn't be useful at all in caves or anywhere else confined, because then you at least can't fly over everything in the world.

Ahhh yes, but being able to fly over everything means you don't have to enter most caves/buildings. e.g. Skelebot tower maps are a breeze, whereas usually they are quite difficult.

Well you need caves for perks, but point taken on overlord towers. Many surface maps are trivial things, but the special challenges can be forced upon you whether you fly or not, perhaps.
