Some noobie questions

Hello!  I got the game during the steam summer sale and just started playing it recently.  I must say its a lot of fun!  However I have a couple questions that I just couldn't find answers to, maybe someone here can help me out?

• What are you supposed to do with old enchants?  I found the incinerator for old spells, is there a similar way to recycle or sell unused enchants?  Or do you just drop them?  Or should I just let them clutter up my inventory?  That's what I'm doing right now, because I don't want to throw them out if they happen to have some value!
• Are head enchants just for those seeker things you buy from the Ilari?  Or have I just not gotten a lucky roll to get a hat?  I ask because it feels 'awkward' having one empty spot on my equipment, but right now I like finding a variety of enchants.
• When you buy a heatsuit, does it immediately give you those jumping disadvantages?  Or can you toggle the heatsuit on and off?  I should probably just experiment with it since it isn't too expensive... but I thought I'd ask

Welcome!  And glad you're enjoying the game.  To your questions:

1. You can actually just discard enchants and for most of them (all the ones you find out in the wild, just not the ones you can buy) you'll get enchant progress back.  This is basically a portable incinerator.

2. Head enchants are just for things that affect what loot you get, and at the moment I do believe that is just limited to the seekers.  The reason for this is that when something loot-affecting competes with something gameplay-affecting in the same slot, then to play "optimally" people will use the gameplay enchant until the last second before loot is given out, then switch to the loot enchant.  That's annoying and fiddly for players, so we made a slot just for the loot-related stuff to keep that from happening.

3. You can put the heatsuit on and off at will, actually.  Just right-click it (or otherwise use it) any time, and you can put it on and off as much as you want.

Wow. thank you for the quick reply!  That completely makes sense about the head slot, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.  I would suggest adding a sentence about the enchant discarding to the encyclopedia because that seems like important information.  In my opinion of course.

My pleasure!  And you're right, adding an item to the encyclopedia about enchant recycling would be a good idea.  We also have it on the actual enchants screen itself, but having it also in the encyclopedia would be a good idea.
