We didn't change anything about sharing of enchants (there weren't shared enchants before) or about what happens when you drop an enchant :)

So starter enchants are for single-player only?
This game is starting to hate multi-player.

I don't think starter enchants are the same thing as shared enchants; and I don't think starter enchants have been intentionally changed in any way, have they?

Are you reporting a bug?  :)

The starter enchant code is written without reference to whether the game is multiplayer, all it cares about is "is the world tier greater than 1?"  Otherwise it doesn't really know the difference between two players starting simultaneously in a new world (should the second player get starter spells/enchants just because they logged in second?) and a second player starting after the world has already been around for a while.

No, that's a maze room, and it's a stash look more closely at the minimap, the room I am in, the maze room, is yellow. I also have it highlighted and it says clearly "Maze Room 11" and under that "Stash"

  • Avenger? I hardly know 'er!
Every time I get used to the new system you guys change it again. Usually for the better, I'll give this new one a shot later today.
I can already tell this is going to be a roller coaster ride of disappointment.

Taking a look a 1.106. Looks like you are starting to bring back some of the world map strategy stuff, though probably in a very different form.

I'm a little saddened by the "loss" of the blue and green guardian stones. Now guardian stones have very little presence in the game, as AKAIK, nuetral ilari guardian stones no longer seed in the "wild" (and haven't for some time), thus leading to only two guardian stones, the opal one, and the pre-placed nuetral one that the tutorial has.

Maybe this will change some, IDK. But I kind of like the "floating rocky dudes of mystery"*, and given their story importance, it kind of disappointing to not see that very much in the gameplay.

Also, the lack of guardian power stuff without its replacement implemented yet is also going to be rather interesting, especially for players that use it frequently. But as you said, this is only for a few versions. (Maybe this is to make up for those few versions in AI War where the AI didn't have turrets but guardians were not implemented yet ;))

*Ok, I know that the Ilari are not the stones, but are rather interacting through the stones, but still that name was too good to pass up.

I'll miss the stones too, since I've hardly seen any in the wild as well, and the opal one isn't really the most interesting color to represent all non-intro mission Illari.

Did not expect the return of profession books (in a much less obtuse way), though. I thought they'd fallen off one of the cliffs.

Regarding the migrations, yes those should still happen but only after 2 of the lieutenants are dead on the continent.  In the old system it was "tier 3 and up" so that's the same thing really.  Unless something is broken there, which I've not tested.

Regarding the blue guardian stone, I've added him/her back in since it was the cause of so much sadness.

Regarding the other citybuilding stuff, I think you'll all really like what is coming with those, and the "dead period" of having a few things be pointless should hopefully not last past Tuesday at the latest.  Fingers crossed. ;)
