Was lesser teleport affected by "increased projectile speed"?

Lesser teleport was not changed as part of this cycle of changes at all, so if it's smaller it's been thus for quite some time.

Hmm.  I've been without for a while since I finished the last continent, until I got it again today.  It really does seem shorter than I remember, but it's been a few days, so maybe I'm miss-remembering.

Thanks - and sorry King, fo rnot believing you.

It probably still is.

Yeah, and before that would have increased its range. Hence the impression that it got shorter, when in fact it is just no longer being extended.

To be crystal clear: the speed increase probably still is increasing the range on the teleport spell. The new changes with spell range caps only apply to those spells that had a cap specifically applied to them. Teleport was not one of them and thus it shouldn't be any different in any way.

Ah, got it. I understand now. I didn't realize the hard capped range was targeted at certain classes of spells. That's what I get for making assumptions  ;)

Not even classes. It's an attribute on each specific spell.

I promise to stop making assumptions, even in my talking about not making them.   :o

We all make assumptions, it's okay. I think it's neccessary for normal human thought. :)

Side note about the Forest Rage comment:

It DESPERATELY needed it.  It was "Da Bomb".  Now I may actually care about using a different spell.  Meh, not the first time my favorite toy got nerfed... ;)  (Keith: Dyson!!!!!!)
... and then we'll have cake.

Seriously. Toys are fun. Whyd you have to remove my Dyson Toys? I liked my Dyson Toys.

I personally found forest rage to be decidedly strong in the dps department, but incredibly weak in the damage per mana department, and generally still stuck to fireball/ball lightning.

Mostly not random side note; Can we maybe get a mana/second calculation on ability tooltips, or am I going to need to brush up on my mental math?

thoroughly enjoyed elites last night... adds much more variety to the playing field and enjoying the new challenges.

and the changes to the upgrade mechanics have a nice feel to them, less investment same potential for customization. for me it massively reduces any potential for grind (that i never actually felt, but others seem to) because on death i almost always have enough stones to bring a character back up to a sufficient number of upgrades to be very playable even on a hard difficulty (and this is just by popping into buildings i pass along the way to check out easy to reach stashes).

very good - however, having read a number of threads on here talking about the need for grinding upgrade stones and enchant containers, and a number of others talking about avoiding enemies and not killing to avoid unlocking stronger monsters (i can't really understand this - i'm with terraziel again, challenging is a good attribute for a video game) it seems it might make sense to have elites and more powerful (later unlocked) monsters drop one upgrade stone or enchant charge on death? would nicely increase the motivation for engaging with the enemy and at the same time give further incentive to killing the lesser bad guys to unlock the harder ones which release you from the early game mechanic of specifically searching for upgrade and enchant containers? i don't know, just a thought ... might be a step too far - i don't feel the grind at all (for either of the above mentioned items) but if some do???

There are some folks who feel that the game is grindy, and that's actually part of the reason why we can't have enemies drop things like upgrade stones or enchant charges. That will make the game feel more grindy, because players will feel like they HAVE to kill every enemy they see. We don't want players to have to kill every enemy because then some players will, and they will come back here and complain that the game is nothing but a grind-fest. Enemies should be nothing more than an obstacle between you and the stuff you want to get.
