Underground Areas in Evergreen Forest
« on: February 01, 2012, 09:05:16 pm »
Is it just me, or do caves never spawn in Evergreen Forests? Already visited 4 regions, checked all the chunks (6 or so in every region), and it's all flat terrain.

EDIT: Also, are Modern Ruins supposed to spawn in Evergreen Forests? Never noticed them before. They use the same graphics as the Modern Ruins in Abandoned Towns.

Here are some examples:

When it comes to entrances to underground areas, you should have two of them in that region. Not all of them have the "archway" entry though; some look more like wells that you enter.

Yep, if you look at the lighter chunks on the dungeon map, you'll see that those are "surface with caves" or something of that nature.  Those will have the little wells in there somewhere.e

Regarding the modern ruins showing up there, that is by design at the moment but it's kind of placeholder until we get actual better stuff from the appropriate time period.  Thanks for the reminder. :)

Ah, I see. Didn't know about identifying the "surface with caves" areas in the map. Did manage to find one of the wells, though. Many thanks.
