This game is awesome! I bought it as soon as I saw it and no regrets man, AVWW rules!   ;)  Kinda reminds me of old C64 games.

It'd be cool if you guys could add some procedurally generated monsters or lifeforms, like with random limbs and whatnot.

*edit* and as soon as I went back to the changelog I noticed something about Multi-Part Monsters.......Is that what I was talking about? SWEET   ha!

Welcome to the forums! Glad you like the game.

Multipart monsters aren't procedural, but, they do have some of the C64/platformer feel that you mentioned. Basically, they are monsters that change as you fight them. For example, with the one we have right now, if you destroy the wheel, suddenly it can no longer move, and stuff like that.

We have lots more planned for the game, I think you'll be happier as we get closer to actual release. :)

I really want multi-part monsters that have multiple options for certain "slots" that are chosen randomly (i.e. procedurally) at creation-time, but we're not there yet :)

And while some alternate turrets and whatnot are possible, they'll probably always have the same art due to the complexity of the models and art, etc.  But either way, if I have my way you won't necessarily know what that tank's going to hit you with until it fires :)
