Any chance of this coming to Desura?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I searched the forums but couldn't find anything related to it. Is there any news or info on whether this will come to Desura at a later date?

Also, if it does, will those people who bought it on this site be able to redeem it on Desura or would we have to buy it on Desura again?

Reason I ask is because I want to buy it as in TODAY. If I can't redeem it on Desura later, it's not too bad, would just be nice seeing as it makes updating easier and I don't have to actively check when there are new updates.

I've seen this game on a few sites, but never really looked at it much. Checked the page on GamersGate today and it actually looks amazing. It also so happens that I desperately need something to distract me from how much ME3's ending disappointed me, and this game seems to fit the bill perfectly.

Correction from Erik's earlier post. There is a chance the game may come to Desura, but because of their update model it may not happen. Our other games are on Desura, and it was a huge hassle and we've literally not made one dollar. Erik was right that we'd never ask folks to buy the game multiple times, so a license key bought anywhere can work with a copy of the game gotten from anywhere. In terms of desura's auto-update platform thingie, that's actually the main reason we might not go with them; it's a lot of work for us, for so far $0 in well over a year.

So I'm really not sure what is going to happen with AVWW and Desura, but last thing I want to do is promise something we can't deliver. Right now I'm not saying no, but we don't have any plans in that direction and it's not looking likely.

I will say this though, which may ease your mind about a non-Desura linked copy. You don't have to actively check for updates to AVWW. When you load up the game, the initial menu shows you right away if there is an update, and if there is, you can have it install the update automatically.

Seconded on how easy it is to update this, along with patch notices being posted on Arcen's facebook wall too. It's a nice almost daily update on neat new stuff! I have been developing a bad habit though of almost enjoying reading patch notes for games more than playing them, if that makes any sense.
