To the Sound/Music Guy for AVWW

Your music is absolutely magnificent. One of the key things that makes me come back to AVWW on a daily and frequent basis is the music. It's very fitting and immersive in this game, and I love it.

That's all I really wanted to say.  ;)

I found the music VERY reminiscient of AI War. So much so, that it seemed really boring (having played tens of hours of AI War). It's still nice music, just more of the same to me.

Twiggy, thanks for the compliments! I've had a lot of fun doing the soundtrack for AVWW, and there's still a lot more music to come (or in the 2nd and 3rd continents, if you haven't gotten that far yet haha!)

I know my music isn't for everyone, and that's ok! I'm very fortunate to have the opportunity to do this every day and to share it with you. Thanks again!

Agreed.

Pablo Vega, you are a musical genius.
I can already tell this is going to be a roller coaster ride of disappointment.

It doesn't matter that your music isn't for everyone! You've built music that's both catchy and has depth yet fits in the game almost perfectly. Sometimes I wonder if the game is built around the music rather than vice versa. :p

But you obviously know what you're doing and you've definitely felt your music out, and that's really what I love about it. So keep up the good work and I look forward to hearing the rest of your work as I play on through.

I agree.  I bought that soundtrack right away.

I particularly love the theme that plays on the title screen.

Actually the whole title screen in general is amazing.   That excellent theme playing, with the random scene from a random area in that really great artstyle.  Makes firing up the game a pleasure indeed.

When I'm about to load AVWW I always look forward to hearing the music.  I always get a sense of anticipation when switching areas too, to hear what's been cooked up for the next one.  This is one of the best game soundtracks I've heard. :)

Thank you guys! I put this up on another post as well, but if you're interested in hearing some higher quality versions of the music, you can check out the band camp page for A Valley Without Wind OST Vol. 1: http://arcenmusic.bandcamp.com/album/a-valley-without-wind-vol-1

Or if you'd like (shameless plug) you can purchase the album right off of band camp, iTunes, or Amazon.

Vol. 2 is in the works right now, and I'm pumped about it! There's a ton of music coming your way in the next few months, so be on the look out.

And thank you guys again. These posts, reviews, comments are what gets me motivated every day. I love music, but I love sharing it with you guys even more.
