Valley 1 controls

After looking at the 1.001-1002 release thread, I'm left with one question: Was the original Valley Without Wind balanced around keyboard-only controls too? If so, I might have to go back to the first game and start over to see the intended challenge level. Since the mouse controls were selected by default, I just assumed it was the intended control scheme, but after reading the dev's post about it, I'm not so sure anymore.

If I remember correctly here, it's mouse aim for AVWW 1.

Valley 2 was designed around keyboard/ gamepad controls.  Mouse+keyboard was just added.

Valley 1 plays poorly without a mouse because of wooden platform placement.
