The complete keyboard option is something that I contributed as a suggestion during the beta. You can do most everything with the keyboard, except for some of the management stuff.

Now that the default right and left hand schemes for both both keyboard + mouse and keyboard only are at reasonable default (AFIAK), I would agree that there is little reason left to complain about the controls.

However, I think it is perfectly legitimate to "complain" when there is a gap in the control flexibility. The controls are very configurable, but not totally configurable, yet.

I thought it was really nice to see the heavily customizable controls. Not every gamer can use a mouse or a keyboard, and not every developer cares about that.

So do I.  And, I think, so does he.  He was referencing a post of his own in another thread where he was complaining about what might or might not become the defaults if the general consensus is that the defaults would be better a different way.  And then apparently he made this thread after realizing that it doesn't matter what the default is, since he gets what he wants either way.
