mouse issue
« on: July 19, 2010, 10:10:04 am »
Hiya,

When I'm in the map screen for adventure mode I can't pick the level to play. It's like my left mouse button isn't working. It works ok when i select from the menus. Also when I start a puzzle level my cursor looks kinda like this <<>> and I can't make any blocks disappear.

I'm sure its just me being daft but hopefully someone can help with this.

Hi there, sorry to hear about your troubles.  It sounds like the Shift key is being held down permanently there.  We have a report that this can happen when the Steam overlay is opened and then shut -- simply hitting the left shift key once should fix both issues immediately.  We'll be talking to the Unity 3D folks (the engine that Tidalis runs on) about this.  Sorry for the confusion, and hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply. It hasn't happened for a day or so, but at least I know how to sort it if it happens again.

My pleasure -- and again, sorry about the confusion there. We'll definitely be taking this up with Unity support. Thanks!
