Galactic map movement
« on: April 20, 2014, 04:38:54 pm »
It happened twice to me, so I'm wondering if it's a bug or is there a piece of info that I'm missing. It goes like this, on the galactic map I go to a planet, then take mission to kill a pirate base, then complete the mission. After mission is completed I end up on a different (seemingly random) planet. What gives?

Intended: when you go killing a pirate base you move to base location. Once you destroyed the base, you're moved to another planet.
This is to prevent you being in space, at former pirate base location.

One would expect to end up back at the planet where you took the mission, surely?

I assume is because you go to where the pirate base is, but you don't go back.

Ship movement from planet to planet takes basically zero time, so its not really a problem.

I can see at least one scenario where it would be. New players (yo) don't really have a clue which race is which and have to peer at descriptions each time (this is the planet yadda yadda whatever blah blah stats oh THERE's the race name {that could be more prominent}) to figure out who they want to be helping/hurting at the moment. If you're intended to do several missions in a row for race A but get transported to race B's planet after the first mission, it's entirely possible you'd just jump right back in and repeat the mission for the wrong race.
