Xms Dota 2 Invite-ganza!
« on: December 24, 2012, 01:44:00 am »
I have an extra copy of Dota 2 (who doesn't at this point, lol) and if anyone wants it, PM me an email address or post a steam name to add to give it to. Anyone else with copies or keys to give out is welcome to do so here too ^_^

I got a free copy a year ago, opened it, then never played the game. Seems like it has a more or less impossible barrier to entry.

I spent a year in an SC2 Dota ripoff and another year on League before I got decent enough at Dota to know what I was doing, so yeah =p There might be people here who want to try it though who don't own a copy, who knows?

Oh, I don't doubt it. The people here are fairly hardcore.
But yeah, a two year learning curve isn't for me. I prefer AI War's much more tame 40 hour learning curve. (well, okay, more like 3, but I've got almost 50 hours of gameplay time and haven't finished a game yet)

I got six gift copies of Dota 2 a while back. If anyone wants or knows several people* who want one, let me know.

*For whatever reason the gift copies cannot be redeemed in China, so there's that.
I can already tell this is going to be a roller coaster ride of disappointment.

Anybody still have spare DotA keys? I can't promise I'll play it a lot, but I kind of want to try it out against bots or something.

I do. Add me on Steam (Coppermantis) if you want one.
