Title: Unity, Shaders, Shader Forge
Post by: Hearteater on August 27, 2014, 01:25:32 PM
Just thought I'd put this video on Shader Forge (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMHpBpjWUlY) up for those interested. It is about 50 minutes long, but if you watch through 19 minutes you'll get the idea. Found the video interesting.

Shader Forge is awesome.

Took me about two days to make that, but the end result is a flexible shader that I can throw 3 colors (as well as two "glow" amounts: a multiplier and a flat value) at it and get an animated elemental effect.  Then each object specifies a texture and effect mask.
