Well, I finally got around to buying the game through BackerKit, so that's good.
As you may or may not know, I purposely lose in the beginning and use cheats and see how the factions interact with each other. So when the Nanocaust was introduced, I was ecstatic. Unfortunately, this leads to my two main concerns,
1. After losing, the music just shuts off. This makes my experience less interesting as there is no sound to be heard other than ships firing. The original had music and it worked well.
2. After losing, the Nanocaust goes on strike and does nothing. It will continue to attack if there is something on the planet, but then it sits there until the cows come home. Would it be possible for it to continue attacking after losing? This one is easy to reproduce. Make everything 10/10 then kill your ark on a hostile planet. Watch as the Nanocaust re-enacts this scene from sponge-bob: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubLBTZw5AZw

Also want to to add something else about the audio settings. Please put a slider instead of the numbers or have a slider as well as numbers. It's a real pain having to lower everything individually by typing in a number that might not be the number I want and then repeat a few times.

Edit: How do I upload a save? Not that I need it right now, but just for the future.

The Nanocaust does nothing after the game ends because there's code that says "Is the human Ark dead? If so, the game is over so just stop doing anything." It's definitely going to get more interesting eventually; I have a tentative fix in my sandbox now but it needs some testing.

You can attach a save game easily on Mantis, there's a giant box for "Drag file here". On the forums, click "Additional Options" under the text box you type in, then use the Attach: feature.

Please use mantis for discrete bug reports and suggestions, if you don't mind -- it really helps us a lot!

I do intend to have sliders for the audio, when I redo bits of the settings screen.

For the after-loss music, that simply isn't in the game yet.

Thanks. I saw on mantis that the changes to the Nanocaust won't happen right away, but waiting is no problem for me.

1. Thanks for the reply.
2. Mantis. Right. I don't have an account there, that's why I posted here. I'll make one later today.
