This isn't a lore question about what happened to Earth (since I think its stated that it was blasted until all that was left was rubble) but a question on what happend to the Earth system in game?
Whenever I look back at older After Action Reports, promotional images and even the 7.0 trailer I can oft see images of Earth in the background in the 'Earth' system. Yet in the current version of the game there is no Earth nor Sol system in the game, I even checked the data file images and there's no Earth image at all.
I'm just curious as to why Earth is MIA since I can't find any references to it.
