"Fixed bug in last version where maws had no ship cap. "

I swear, I was so close to finally winning this game. And then maws were unlocked and legions of them ate every single ship I owned ;_;. I guess others were messed up by that bug too? :D

Its fixed in 5.002.  (Which is yet to be released)  It was kinda fixed in 5.001 but a certain developer who shall not be named forgot to do the correct math.  *coughs*

Yes, a particularly nasty bug, 200 entered my system, in a matter of seconds I had no more fleet ships, they went om-nom-nom.

We play without the consumer shiptype for now. Though it is fun to take a fleet of a couple hundred through AI territory.

If you are willing to wait a bit, they might push out 5.002 tonight. Based on my experiences in the beta cycles, once the change list gets around this size, they will push it out in not too much longer.

Actually I introduced it in 5.001, it's not in 5.0.  At least, that's my understanding.

But yea, 5.002 should be out soon (if I said "today" that would doom it to not come out today, you know how it goes).

Yea, I learned that the hard way. I am beginning to think because of this rule, my frequent nagging about 5.001 doomed it to being delayed by a few weeks.  :P

That is one reason why I'm going to take it easy with my nagging for the rest of this beta cycle.  ;)

Oh I thought it was in 5.0, but as I never got around to playing with Maws before the beta update I just figured.  *shrugs*

(Perhaps not in the context as you intend it, but you did say the word ... no 5.002 today I'd say :D)

oh, glad that bug is gone.
Yeah, I got cuddly hugged  by those too... started a 7/7 game and had 352 maws coming at me in the first 2 hours of the game. Reloaded the last autosave a few times hoping the AI would send a wave with different ships. It worked at the second try.
