XML Output?

New to the game and loving it. But as someone who loves to look at data and crunch numbers, I was really interested in grabbing the XML export files.

Opening the Debug Window (F3), and hitting CTRL+SHIFT+F8 properly killed AI War and output the Excel Secondary files.
However, when I attempted to dump the UnitTypeStrength.xml files, neither CTRL+SHIFT+F5 (as listed in the in-game hotkey list) nor CTRL+SHIFT+F6 (not listed in-game, but listed in the manual and on the wiki) did anything. I even tried letting the game idle for a while (thinking, possibly, that the game would close after the export finished). But nothing happened.

Has this been removed from the game?

This still definitely works, I just tested it.  However, I'd suggest doing it from the main menu.  So hit F3, then hit Ctrl+Shift+F8.  Bear in mind that you'll see some graphics and which ships are facing which other ships, etc.  And bear in mind that, depending on the speed of your computer, this could take anywhere from 45 minutes to a few hours.

After a little investigation, I figured out what is happening. Well... sort of.

To my best guess, something while I'm running AI War is intercepting my F5 (and, through investigation, F6) key. I'm running on the assumption that it's related to Steam and the overlay, in the way that Steam also captures F12 to create screenshots on the Steam Cloud. After rebinding the "export" command to LeftAlt+LeftShift+F4, it worked like a charm from the main menu!
