How to Allow New Players to Join Made Game
Simple guide on how to allow another player to join your game.

Prerequisite
Joining player must have the same game version and/or expansions.

1.  Host must create a new slot for the player, it's in the Manage Players in the ESC menu,
2.  The name of the player must be exactly the same as the one who is joining it, or else it returns a "Game Already in Progress" dialog,
3.  Choose a colour,
4.  Have the player join.

You have to provide the player with at least one Command Station for the game to provide him/her with a Core Station.

I'd take a sea worm any time over a hundred emotionless spinning carriers.

A couple of added notes:

- If you leave the name of the slot as ???, the default, then it will take on the name of whatever player who connects first, which is nice and simple.

- In the latest prereleases, you can no longer gift home command stations for the new players.  But, they will get a free home command station core.  This lets them get started without first having to be given any ships from the existing players, an improvement over 2.0.
