Easy Fallen Spire vs. Difficult AI Home World Assault
« on: July 14, 2014, 05:44:16 pm »
My last game I struggled against a 8.0 Sledge Hammer AI and a 8.0 Vanilla AI in a 60 planets game. I assaulted the 1st AI home world and managed to destroy every home command guard post except one. But the continued exo waves killed me finally (I think it was the 4th and a MKIV Hunter Killer ;) )

Before I won a 8.0 / 8.0 Fallen Spire Campaign and it felt way more easier.

Now I wonder if there is anything I do absolutly wrong in my Home World Assault games.

No one knows if you did something wrong since no one knows what you did in the first place.
But if you died you obviously did something wrong. To know what.. we need more information and possibly the .sav file so we can take a look at the situation.

This save is another game with similar conditions. I assault the AI Home World but it takes too long and the 3rd or 4th exo wave ends my game.

Can you give some tips how to be faster (below 1 hour) in assaulting the AI Home Worlds or how to manage my research better in order to build a stronger defense?
